Randy Costa vs Tony Kelley

For our first fight we are looking at bantamweight bout between Randy Costa and Tony Kelly. Costa is big favourite in this fight and for good reason. He looked amazing against Adrian Yanez (even though he lost) and I think if he can keep improving on his cardio, he has a path to really dominate the bantamweight division. He just has so much potential. Pair this with the fact that Tony Kelley has never impressed me, he just is so one dimensional on the feet, and doesn’t have elite grappling either. Costa is great on the feet and that is where this fight with take place, expect costa to use his 3-inch reach advantage to pace himself, keep technical and dominate Kelley. Kelley doesn’t have good cardio either so Costa could potentially end this fight with a late finish. I am taking Randy Costa on the money line.

Andre Muniz vs Eryk Anders

Andre Muniz is taking on Eryk Anders in what I expect to a great fight. Anders got taken down a lot by Darren Stewart and although he came away with the win I cannot see a world where Stewart can get you down and Muniz can’t. Muniz is also younger and has the reach advantage. Pair this with the fact that Anders was always a fighter that relied heavily on his athleticism, which he is losing with age, and it really puts Muniz in a nice spot to win this fight. I see Muniz dominating the ground game, we’ve seen him coming off 2 straight round 1 submission against Ronaldo Souza and Bartosz Fabinksi, he is very capable and perfect for this division. It I will say this though, if Muniz cannot control this fight in the ground and the fight enters the third round, it may be worth the live bet on Anders. We have seen Muniz struggle later on in fights, but I am confident that if he can control the fight from the start he will come away from this one victorious.

Josh Emmett vs Dan Ige

Josh Emmett is a really underrated fighter in the featherweight division. This fight is going to be a war and I am backing Emmett. Both fighters have good power, but Emmett has incredible power in his simple jab. He will gain a lot of points from the judges for some huge hits he lands, even if they aren’t enough to finish Ige. He also has incredible footwork; he is just so technical. Dan Ige did not look good against the Korean Zombie and Emmett will not slow down plus Ige cannot out grapple him. I don’t think anyone gets finished but I think Emmett wins with some big hits.

FREE PICK: Josh Emmett ML (-182)
