NETS vs KINGS
Dave Covers Spreads, NBA FREE PICKS
The Brooklyn Nets look to avoid their 12th consecutive loss as they host the new look Kings in a Monday Night NBA matchup.
This game is a story of players. More importantly play availability. The Brooklyn Nets (current title favorites) entered this NBA season with high hopes, it has all played out differently however. The biggest piece missing from this Nets side is all star forward Kevin Durant, who is out with a knee injury. As well as Durant, Kyrie will also be out this game as he is still unable to play home games for the Nets. As well as Durant and Kyrie, the Nets new third all star Ben Simmons is still unavailable to play.
The Kings on the other hand are looking the best they have all season. This is mostly due to the acquisition of all star forward Domantas Sabonis who is averaging 19ppg, 12.5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Fox is also playing his best basketball since the trade. He has had 27, 29, 27, 26 points in his last 4 games and shooting roughly 50% during that period.
In no way are the Kings a better team than Brooklyn, but with all the drama and missing players on the Nets, Sacramento are in a key position to keep their momentum rolling and steal a win away from the Nets.
LAST 10 GAMES: Nets: 0-10, averaging 105.2 points, 41.8 rebounds, 22.0 assists, 7.4 steals and 4.8 blocks per game while shooting 44.0% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 117.6 points per game.
Expect the Nets to continue to struggle in this game, back the momentum of the Kings to get away with the win. Their is still some value on the Moneyline so take the side in this one.
